About Me.

Debbie's Christian journey began at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, South Hackensack, New Jersey in 1977 where she served as a lay leader. At age 22, Debbie joined the Missionaries ministry and became the youngest member in the group.

Serving as a missionary changed Debbie's life forever. What she learned from the season saints and spirit-filled women in the church still influences her life today.
Debbie served as president of the Mount Zion Baptist Church Missionaries ministry for 2 years.

In 2006, she joined the Mount Olive Baptist Church, Hackensack, New Jersey. After joining MOBC, she served as a member of the Women of Worship choir.  She also served a 3-year term on the Trustee Board.  She currently serves as a Sunday school teacher, teaching students ages 10-12.
In October 2013, Debbie passed clearance to become a volunteer at the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, NJ.  She had the opportunity to partner with another minister to do praise & worship and Bible study with the Protestant women in jail.

Debbie is a member of both the Home Missions and Global Missions ministries at Mount Olive Baptist Church.

In 1990, Debbie became a member of the Lott Carey WISE (Women is Service Everywhere) which mobilizes women to engage in missions around the world. She has attended the Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Missional conventions in Raleigh, NC; Columbus, OH; Memphis, TN; New Orleans, Louisiana; Washington, DC; Louisville, Kentucky; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Atlanta, GA.

Debbie is a Board Certified Chaplain, ordained minister, and most importantly, a child of the Most High God.  She is a servant leader and ministers with a heart full of empathy and compassion to those in need of spiritual healing.
